Changes to the DFS guaranteed investment fund lineup

Since November 25, your clients can benefit from new features for the Helios2 Contract and some older contracts:

Changes and new option for Wise ETF portfolios

Today Desjardins Financial Security (DFS) announced the launch of the new DFS GIF – Balanced – Desjardins Wise ETF available under Helios2 for Series 6, 7, 8, 6F and 8F, as well as under Helios for Series 5. The new portfolio will have a target allocation of 50% fixed-income securities and 50% equities. Also, changes to the names and target allocations of its existing DFS GIF Desjardins Wise ETF portfolios were made.

Name changes as of November 25, 2024

In addition, DFS is changing the names of its existing DFS GIF – Desjardins SocieTerra portfolios and the DFS GIF – Global Balanced – Desjardins SocieTerra fund. They will be renamed DFS GIF – Desjardins Sustainable and DFS GIF – Global Balanced – Desjardins Sustainable, respectively. The names of these guaranteed investment fund will not change in French.
